About Dr Candice Jacobson
Dr Candice Jacobson is a Specialist General Psychiatrist practising in Cape Town. She is passionate about mental health, providing a patient-centred evidence-based approach to the diagnosis and management of mental illness.
Dr Jacobson established a private general psychiatry practice in 2017 seeing in- and out-patients of all ages, including hospital-based consultations. She also consults as a sessional psychiatrist at UCT Student Wellness.

Medical Aid Rates
Dr Jacobson charges medical aid rates for most medical aids (barring Genesis) and will apply for prescribed minimum benefits where applicable.
All claims will be submitted directly to the medical aid unless otherwise requested.
Prior to making an appointment, patients should check with their medical aid whether a referral letter from a GP and/or an authorisation number is required.
